Signature Data: When you sign agreements, we capture your typed name, IP address, browser information, and timestamp for legal compliance.

Payment Information: If applicable, payment details are processed through Stripe and are not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate the platform, match you with projects and specialists, track contributions and equity, process payments, send notifications, improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with: other members (profile, project participation), service providers (hosting, email, payments), and as required by law. Project-specific data is visible to project team members.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure database hosting (Supabase), hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your membership plus 2 years, or as required by law. Agreement signatures and audit logs are retained permanently for legal compliance. You may request data export or deletion by contacting an administrator.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), export your data, and withdraw consent for optional data processing.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand platform usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email). Each has their own privacy policy governing their handling of your data.

9. Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy with 30 days notice. Members will be notified of material changes and required to accept the updated policy.
